I'm new to Family History - where do I start?

I have not received my journal. What should I do?

Your 1891 Census Index on CD says I can get a Print of the Enumerators returns. How do I get them?

How can I help the Society?

I represent a company. How can I add my link to your site? The HGS will only add your company to our links pages if your primary purpose is to provide "finding aids" to researchers. So, for example, if you produce a range of products such as exquisitely embroidered cushions with "I love Family History" and a customers family name on them, we will not add this link to our site. However, if you have an index of "fancy cushion makers" 1762-1900 that researchers may consult, then we will add your link. Common sense applies here. Simply contact the webmaster, using the email link at the bottom of this page including your company details, and URL/link.

I am an HGS member. How can I add my link to your site? Paid-up members can have their home page details and a short description added to our members pages. Simply contact the webmaster, using the email link at the bottom of this page including your membership number and URL/link.
