Destination:
The UK Royal Mail splits the world up into regions. UK, Europe, World Zone 1 and World Zone 2. World Zone 2 includes Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand and its territories, amongst many other countries and islands. The UK and Europe (including Republic of Ireland) are reasonably clear. Everywhere else is classed as World Zone 1. If in doubt, seek advice from your local post office, contact us for clarification providing an SSAE, or simply use the shipping code of the next higher value shipping band.

Notes:

Shipping includes all postage and packing charges.

For each article you wish to purchase please add the appropriate shipping element for EACH and EVERY item. The shipping amount is found as a letter code against each HGS Publication and relates to the above table. If you are ordering a large number of items you may wish to contact the Society (enclosing an SSAE) or by e-mail for a consolidated shipping price.

Example: If you (a member) living in Zone 2 wish to purchase the 1891 Census Index Volume 4 Part 7. The shipping cost will be Code C (£1.46) added to the cost of the book (£3.15) giving a total of £4.61.

Methods of Payment:

Cheques to be made payable to the "Hampshire Genealogical Society" in sterling, sent with your order to the address on the previous page.

If you have access to the Internet and you would prefer to pay for our publications using your credit card, please feel free to use our stall hosted on Federation Online Bookstall - payments will then be applied to your credit card.

Shipping and Distribution:

Within the UK, items will be dispatched via 2nd Class post. For most other destinations the items will be sent by Airmail for Printed Papers where appropriate. The exception to this is where certain heavy items will be sent using surface mail in order to reduce postage charges.
